Belonged to Dr. Richard D. Loewenberg. ; Previous owner Richard Detlev Loewenberg (1911-1954) a German-Jewish psychiatrist who emigrated to California. Practiced in San Francisco and later in Kern County. After his death, he gained some notariety as the Psychiatrist who had put together the 1951 psychological profile of Kenneth Parnell as part the the legal proceedings surrounding Parnell's abduction and abuse of an 8 year old Bakersfield boy. Loewenberg interviewed Parnell several times over a 6 year period, starting 4 years before the 1951 abduction.
