Wilson was an Anglo-Catholic priest in the Haggerston area of London's East End, and was the center of a thriving Anglo-Catholic community destroyed, which was destroyed during the second world war. He is best known for the Haggerston catechism, which he wrote, in addition to other inspiration fiction. This was the last title he authored prior to his death in 1954.
